Mystic Hills High School (MHHS) was founded five years ago as the older, much smaller South County High School was demolished in a magical explosion. The Mystic Hills School District is home to the highest concentration of supernatural beings on the east coast, and the school was constructed with that in mind. The building itself is actually highly resistant to damage, and will actually restore itself overnight, even if it is completely destroyed. It has a capacity for over 3,000 students, with hundreds of classrooms, a giant auditorium, spacious dining facilities, an oversized gym, a pool, several sports fields, and a workout room. The facilities are designed to be used by almost any known creature. The windows are treated to allow vampires to attend during the daytime, and the cafeteria foods range from the mundane to the extraordinary. No-one’s asking how they got there, but there are actually blood-packet and soul vending machines for the vampiric and demonic students. The MHHS curriculum has the widest array of classes of any public school, from mundane subjects such as physics and algebra, ranging to the unusual such as hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting, to the arcane such as basic spell casting, summoning 104, and advanced thaumaturgy. There are also vocational classes, including shop and Golems 100.

The schools sports team (The Mystic Hills Chimeras), are considered some of the best in the region, and compete on the national scale often. Students can try out for any team imaginable, and there are several supernatural sports on the roster, including competitive spellcasting.
